Cafe 75, located at 1214 Commercial Ave in Mounds, Oklahoma, is quickly becoming a beloved local gem. Customers rave about the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the personal touch from owner Kyle, who treats every patron like a regular. The café offers an impressive menu that caters to various dietary needs, including gluten-free options, which Sharron Henderson praises for allowing her to enjoy the same hearty dishes as her family, like chicken fried steak and onion rings.
Reviewers consistently highlight the quality of the food, particularly the expertly prepared chicken fried steak and the homemade mashed potatoes with savory gravy. Rhys Martin notes that the attention to detail in food preparation is evident, making the drive from Tulsa worthwhile. The generous portions, as mentioned by Sharron, and the accommodating staff only add to the overall satisfaction, making Cafe 75 a must-try for anyone in the area.
With impressive desserts and a clean, inviting environment, it’s no surprise that patrons leave feeling satisfied and eager to return. As Flatland Brass notes, the only drawback might be the limited seating, a testament to its popularity. If you're ever in Mounds, make sure to stop by Cafe 75 for a meal that’s not just good, but truly remarkable.

After Cafe 75 first opened my cousin told me a friend of hers from high school opened a little cafe in Mounds. She said the food was really good and recommended we try it. For several months I kept passing it over when we would decide where to have dinner. If you have to eat GF, you know getting food you can eat at a small town cafe is nearly impossible and sometimes you get hangry having to eat another piece of grilled chicken while watching everyone else eat chicken fried steak and onion rings Haha. We finally went one night and I was shocked that I could eat almost everything my family could eat. We originally came to support small business but we keep coming back for the food and customer service. Every person that we have brought in has loved the food, including the GF items I get. Kyle is great and we love that he tries to talk to everyone and make them feel comfortable. This place is my favorite to eat and recommend to everyone. I included pictures of my leftovers I was taking home, the portions are massive.

This little restaurant is a real gem. You can tell the owners love what they do by the quality of the food, the way they know their regulars, and the passion in their voice when you ask them a question. They had run out of the special when I got to the counter, but that was not a surprise. When you make everything fresh, that happens sometimes and it was PACKED on a Friday night. I had one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had, and that's saying something in Oklahoma where so many small restaurants pride themselves on the state dish. Tasty breading that wasn't too thick and a perfectly balanced gravy. My wife had hamburger steak and was equally impressed. It takes about 35 minutes to get here from Tulsa, but it's worth the drive. I'll be back!

Cafe 75 is definitely worth the stop for those driving the highway. Be sure to take the time to stroll over to Mounds, Oklahoma for some of their delicious food! The staff here is very welcoming and their owners know their regulars by name. Kyle was very informative with information on their menu and informed us that they do in fact have Gluten Free Buns (which really opens up their menu). Pictured in the review is their Patty Melt, Corn Dog, and their Country Hamburger with White Gravy (the gravy was gluten free as well). Be sure to swing by and get a great meal!

A tiny little cafe with fantastic food and wonderful staff. Very clean and inviting. Everyone that was finishing eating and leaving waved goodbye to the staff and relayed their immense satisfaction. They offer sugar free and gluten free desserts.

The food was amazing. The Country Fried Steak is excellent, the mashed potatos are homemade and the gravy excellent. Deserts were just as impressive. The owner Kyle(?) was super friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed him as he greeted everyone coming in like he knew them. Only downside is the place is too small. Seating is limited so try and go during non busy times. Maybe they will expand next door, which is vacant. Anyway, worth the trip (we drove down from Kansas) to eat and enjoy the meal. Well worth the drive.

Very excellent food. Above and beyond service and atmosphere. One of mine and my wife's favorite places to go. She wanted to go on her birthday. They gave her a piece of pie for her birthday. It is well worth the drive to Mounds.

A very friendly Kyle met us at the front door and made us feel very welcome. There was a charming country atmosphere inside. Excellent choices of "made from scratch" food on the menu. Neither of us could finish the huge portions. Easy access from the street. You won't be disappointed.

Wow, wow, wow! I kept hearing great things about this place so I finally made it out to see what all the hype was about. I came for the gluten free chicken fried steak and it was everything I hoped it would be. Chicken fried steak used to be my favorite guilty pleasure before I was gluten free. Here, I got the gluten free chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with white gravy and fried okra. It was superb! I couldn't tell a difference between it and a non gluten free one. My husband had the chicken strips and they were delicious as well. My daughter said the GF cheeseburger was the best she ever had. We also got GF coconut cream pie to take with us. Kyle was very friendly. Decor was charming. Overall this place was excellent. It was a bit of a drive for us but well worth it!
